Our approach emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and a curiosity-driven learning environment. In addition to academics, we encourage personal development through activities that build teamwork and confidence.

Student Assessments

At KD Mokykla, we continuously assess our students’ progress, offering feedback that helps guide their development. These assessments provide valuable insights into strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring each student is fully prepared for their next academic challenge.

We believe in fostering a growth mindset 'in our students, where regular evaluations are viewed as opportunities for improvement rather than as mere tests. Our assessments are designed to encourage reflection, motivation, and a deeper understanding of the learning material.

Cambridge Checkpoint Examinations

To ensure students' academic progress aligns with international benchmarks, we conduct Cambridge Checkpoint examinations at key stages:

  • Primary Checkpoint: Taken at the end of Stage 6 (age 11-12), this assessment evaluates students' proficiency in core subjects and prepares them for the transition to lower secondary education.
  • Secondary 1 Checkpoint: Conducted at the end of Secondary 1 (age 14), this exam assesses students' readiness for higher academic challenges and provides valuable feedback on their learning progress. The Secondary 1 Checkpoint also helps prepare students for the transition to the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) stage, where they will face more specialized subjects and rigorous assessments.

The Cambridge International Education Programme is globally recognized for its rigorous standards, empowering students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
